The market for condominiums in the Metro is largely located in the urban core of the city in MLS Zone 10 (and some in 20 as well). The condo market is made up almost exclusively of newly constructed high rise buildings or adaptive re-use projects (mostly old warehouses or office buildings) throughout many of the historic neighborhoods in the city. A significant portion of the condo market is underpinned by students (undergraduate, graduate or medical) attending Virginia Commonwealth University at either the Monroe Park or Medical Campus.
